There is also a garage with fuel pumps by the bridge over from Trondra, whilst further amenities can be found at Scalloway about 6 miles to the north, where there is further local shopping, another school and also a public swimming pool, although Lerwick, about 11 miles away, is still within easy driving distance or buses run from a stop close by the site.
Bridge End also has a marina where there is an outdoor centre with camping area, and there are several fine beaches on the island including Meal beach a couple of miles to the north, and Banna Minn to the south.

To reach the site drive to Bridge End on West Burra. Turn right at the War Memorial to Papil & Bannaminn, and continue along the road past the telephone box & bus stop to a church on the left. Just past the church take the first turning right, cross the cattle grid, and site 20 is immediately ahead of you on the corner of the access road to the right.
