To reach the site from the south, take the main road north out of Lerwick to Veensgarth, Tingwall and turn north following signs for Gott Farm, Strand & Laxfirth. Drive past the school on the right, up to the head of Strand Loch and turn right to Califf & Breiwick. Continue for just over a mile to a ‘T’ junction and turn left to Breiwick. Carry on for a further 1¼ to a junction just before the end of the road; the site is on the corner on your right, on the north side of the tarred track to the right. From the north, turn left to Strand just before the main westside road junction, and follow directions from the head of Strand Loch.
