Attractive, stone-built property of considerable character, situated close to the shore in the centre of the picturesque village of Walls on the west side of Shetland approximately 25 miles west of Lerwick. ‘Bayhall House’ is situated by the pier and boating club in the centre of the picturesque village of Walls which is clustered around a voe on south side of the West Mainland area of Shetland. This is a very convenient location as local amenities including the shop & post office, primary school / nursery, a small community swimming pool for private hire, and health centre are close by. A commuter bus service runs from the village to Lerwick.

Aith, about 10 miles from the house is home to the west mainland area's Junior High School and leisure centre / swimming pool.
