Dalsetter Wynd is situated on the north side of a voe at Dunrossness in the South Mainland of Shetland approximately 22 miles from Lerwick, the estate being close to the main amenities in the area which are grouped together on the main Lerwick / Sumburgh Road about a mile from the house, these including a mini-supermarket with post office & fuel, and the area’s primary school, secondary schooling being available at Sandwick or Lerwick to the north. The property is well placed for easy access to the airport at Sumburgh and air travel to mainland Scotland.

To reach the house turn east from the main Lerwick / Sumburgh Road at Robins Brae to Boddam, Troswickness & Dalsetter. Turn left to Clumlie and follow the road around the voe to Dalsetter. No. 36 is situated almost at the end of the estate. Drive right to the end of the road and turn right around the last timber clad house on the left, No. 36 is on the left ahead of you. A paved path leads to the gate to the garden.
