General Information
Location
The property is situated on the B9071 road through Lower Voe which continues westwards to Aith, Lower Voe being part of the wider village of Voe which lies in the north central mainland area of Shetland at the junction of the main A970 Lerwick – Brae road with the A968 to Toft and the North Isles ferry. The village is located about 4 miles south of Brae, the main population centre for the North Mainland, and 18 miles north of Lerwick.
Voe has a local shop with fuel pumps and a village hall. There is a pier and marina, camping bod and bar / restaurant and bakery in Lower Voe itself. Further amenities including a High School, leisure centre / swimming pool, and Co-op supermarket are available in nearby Brae.
Property Location
To reach the property from the main road north, turn left to Lower Voe on the south side of Voe. Drive through the first group of houses and down towards the shore. The property is the second building on the left, immediately after 'The Picking Shed' self-catering accommodation, clad with red metal profile sheeting.
To see the location of the property in an overall Shetland context, adjust the zoom by clicking the + or - buttons. Use the 'Map', 'Satellite' & 'Hybrid' buttons to switch between an ordnance survey style road map, a satellite aerial photograph or a combination (hybrid) of the two. Please note that the date of the satellite image is unknown and may not show new buildings.
(Please be aware the Google Street View was taken on the date shown. The building and surroundings may have changed since then. We always recommend you view the property personally.)
Thanks again for your brilliant service with both my property sales over the past years. Your experience in Shetland is much noted with local people.
Selling my house whilst living in Edinburgh was a daunting prospect but I should not have worried. The communications between both parties was easy and the sale of my property went through without any hitches.
