Gaet-A-Gott is situated by Tingwall Primary School on the Strand loop road off the main road north, the junction to the Gaet-A-Gott houses being just to the south of the school and the brightly coloured houses at the Strand. Turn into Gaet-A-Gott and then turn first right following the road around to the left to another junction on the left. No. 18 is the right hand house of the pair of semi-detached properties on the left hand corner just past the junction.

The Strand loop road which runs along the north side of Strand Loch, continues westwards to meet up again with the main road north to Voe, Brae etc.
